The Dressage Festival is on again

If you can make it to all or part of this spectacular one day show case of Dressage I assure you it will be well worthwhile. Check out the website for details www.qlddressagefest.com

Last year's festival was a huge success and very popular.

Jenny will be presenting two demonstrations during the afternoon and Jayden will be riding as well. We hope to see you there.

New faces at Riverside

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Phoebe MacGreggor and Jocelyn Hutton. Phoebe and Jocelyn have started their coaching training at Riverside and both girls are a valuable addition to the team at Riverside.

You can check out Phoebe and Jocelyn's profiles in “our people”. We would also like to wish Claire the best of luck. Claire has put her training on hold until after she has had her baby and she assures us that she will be back to continue with her coaching.

"Totally Wild" filming at Riverside

The team from the tv show, Totally Wild are planning to shoot a segment for their show at Riverside featuring our “bridle club”on July 2nd. For those of you who attend Riverside's Bridle club days this is your chance to be on Television!

You do have to book as numbers for this day will have to be limited so call us soon to make sure you don't miss out!

Competitions results come flooding in.

Jenny and Gitane

The first regional Championships for the year was held in Toowoomba in May. Gitane and Jenny had their first start at Advanced level and they came away with the Reserve Champion rosette. Jayden was highly placed in the Prix St George and rode his first ever Intermediate test for a 3rd place!

Brookfield Show is always terrific fun and this year was no exception. Congratulations to all those from Riverside who went along and competed. Nearly all of you came home with a ribbon so well done.v

Although the emphasis at Riverside is undoubtedly on Dressage, we recognise and teach the benefits of a well rounded riding education. This is shown by Tahnee Rowland and Connie's big win at the recent QISEA jumping competition. Well done Tahnee!

The local RDA dressage day was also a great day. A special congratulations to Sally for her spectacular style in the freestyle which she won.

The Qld Young Rider Championships were held last weekend. Jayden shone again by winning the Preliminary championships on Will. He also won the CDI-Y class on Widello with a massive score of 69%. This puts Jayden one step closer going to Germany to compete in the world Young Rider Championships in December!

Jessica Cham, Sarah Bell and Geo Burke also brought home a hoard of ribbons from the Young Rider Championships. Congratulations to you all.

Caboolture Regional Championships was the most recent big competition. Gitane and Jenny again came away with two second places and the Reserve Champion rosette. Zoe Saxby and Fairbanks Wimbledon (“Will Saxby” to his friends) did extremely well with a 6th place in both Elementary classes and one of the novice classes. Mandy and Cally were fifth in the preliminary class and the young horse class. Well done to everyone!
